Moab Support Forum > Epson P600 and Media Type

I just purchased an Epson P600 as my R3000 bit the dust last week. Epson has eliminated the Double Sided Matte paper under Media Type, which I used to select when printing 4x6 and 5x7 prints via the sheet feeder. Options now are Ultra Premium Presentation Matte and Premium Presentation Paper. They don't sound right to me for MOAB ENTRADA paper 190 gsm. What do you recommend? I continue to select Fine Art > Radiant White Watercolor for 8.5x11 and larger sizes, which I front feed. Is this still the best media setting?

I also recently purchased the Epson P600 and am printing on Entrada Rag Natural 300gsm. I'm getting good results by following the Moab recommended media settings of Ultra Premium Presentation Matte (UPPM) for the sheet feeder, and Ultra Smooth Fine Art for the front Fine Art tray. The important thing to remember, which I overlooked when I started using this paper, is to select the correct printer profile, since two are provided by Moab. For the sheet feeder, use the profile with "UPPM" in the name, and the "USFA" profile for the fine art tray. Using the wrong profile will give inaccurate prints (at least from Photoshop).

All our media settings are listed on the ICC profile download page- for the P600 the correct settings depend on which profile you are using, as Charlie explained. For the sheet feeder, Ultra Premium Presentation Matte as your media setting, with the profile ending UPPPM. For the fine art tray, use Ultrasmooth Fine Art, with the profile ending USFA.
