Moab Support Forum > Colorado Fiber Satine Problems on Epson p800

I am having trouble printing the Colorade fiber satire 245 on an Epson p800. I downloaded the icc profile, selected it, put the media to "ultra premium luster" and it printed out awfully. I then tried the Premium Semi-Gloss media setting (still with your icc profile selected), and the same thing occurred (There is no "premium luster" media setting for the p800). Basically it comes out of the printer and there is still tons of wet ink sitting on top of the print and the paper is not absorbing it properly. I have had no problems using your profiles with any of your other paper types, including the juniper baryta, so I do not know what gives. Please advise.

Gordon,
My apologies for your issues with the Colorado Fiber- we discontinued this paper in 2016 due to these exact problems, it is a paper problem and has nothing to do with your printer or settings. I am happy to replace your Colorado Fiber with Juniper Baryta, please contact me directly to complete the process- evan at legionpaper dot com.

I must have just received an old sample pack. No need to send me a replacement, I was just disappointed because I really liked the Colorado Fiber Gloss (which I guess had been discontinued well before the satine).
